I saw the movie and it is well done. After watching video clips on Twitter of some of these adult trans people who want to push our children into trans behavior I believe some of them are demon possessed! Absolutely evil.
There's an interesting interview with a priest who does exorcisms and there were two big takeaways for me:
- Demons and abusers use the same tactics, so don't ever allow yourself to get defensive with either, they are the ones in the wrong and you need to put them on the defensive and stand your ground: "what is wrong with you?", "do you always lie that much?"
- A demon during an exorcism blurted out that Satan's time on earth is almost over.
This is an admittedly odd take-away, but after seeing "Nefarious" it hit me that demon possession has (at least) two things in common with vaccine injury:
1. it is more common than generally acknowledged, and
2. those who reject its existence will readily accept preposterous alternate explanations for the phenomenon because they're more invested in explaining away what they reject than in accurately explaining what they observe.

On reflection, this isn't really a statement about possession or injury, it's a statement about human nature, particularly its penchant for avoiding uncomfortable truths. Whether we're boarding a ship for Tarshish because we don't want God's mercy to fall on our enemies or we're denying the science of Intelligent Design on the basis of its spiritual implications, it seems we are given to sacrificing anything -- credibility, dignity, joy, etc -- before surrendering to truths that, for all our resistance, can't be changed.
