I am having similar feelings, a sense of what is coming. And mourning the changes. The same pattern appears again and again in prophecy, and we are living out that pattern. And God is the same now as then. The "rejoice" part has proven difficult to put into practice, but it is coming too.
Wow! Revelation!! Kim, we all know it. We all feel it deep in our soul. There is no other explanation of what is occurring right before our very eyes. Those with eyes to see know it deep within! I just watched this video and said “ Oh my, the evidence is everywhere!” Jesus you’re coming back! I tell everyone that He’s coming back now days. Jesus is coming back!!
Dr. Milhoan-The verse you quoted is something we All should remember and look forward to, and that is that “The people Will rejoice because the thing will come suddenly.” This thing is a type and shadow of the rapture. It is near, and while no person knows the date we are commanded to know and understand the times of which we are living. This also requires correct biblical understanding and historical contexts. This is the blessed hope of which we are guaranteed a crown (that word has been one of deception and lies recently hasn’t it?) And a word to those who ignorantly refute the belief in this harpaza rapture, if you’re truly saved through God’s grace…. too bad you’re going up anyway. So rejoice!
I'm always encouraged about how much Jesus' disciples misunderstood about what He taught them while He was with them. They only understood it all after what He had explained had occurred. I think it will be the same with us as the end of history plays out. But, yes, one day our King will return to gather His elect because He promised. In the meantime, we know He will never leave or forsake us, and we press on to know Him and make Him known.
